Bump In and Bump Out Information

- Bump In times are:
- Space Only Stands: Monday 5 September, 1pm* – late for loading dock access (your contractor can remain on site to complete the build till midnight). You will be allocated a bump in time based on the Harry the Hirer build schedule to avoid unnecessary wait times. For your allocated bump in time, please refer to the 'Your Stand' box on the right side of the Stand Inclusions page - you will need to be logged in to view this. Early access is not permitted without the express written approval from Harry the Hirer and GEL Events. Please contact Harry the Hirer to discuss your build schedule if you require access earlier than your allocated bump in time. Contractor build continues Tuesday 6 September, 8am – 8pm. Access to the loading dock is strictly by appointment only. You will only be able to book loading dock access in correspondence with your allocated bump in time. Please contact GEL Events to book.
- Shell Scheme Stands: Tuesday 6 September, 8am – 8pm*. You will be allocated a bump in time based on the Harry the Hirer build schedule to avoid unnecessary wait times. For your allocated bump in time, please refer to the 'Your Stand' box on the right side of the Stand Inclusions page - you will need to be logged in to view this.
- Turnkey Stands: Tuesday 6 September, 3pm – 8pm. Access to the loading dock should not be necessary for this build type. Please use the carpark and lifts for bump in. Trolleys are available to use.

- Every person is required to wear High Visibility vests and enclosed shoes when on the loading dock and/or show floor, during bump in.
- High Visibility vests can be purchased via the vending machines on level 2 by the elevators for $10 each. Alternatively, you may bring your own or borrow one from the organiser for bump in and bump out.
- Children 16 or under (including babies and toddlers) are not permitted on the loading dock or in the building during bump in or bump out. Pets of any variety are not permitted in the venue at any time. There are no exceptions.
- All Exhibitors are required to meet the OH&S regulations of ICC Sydney venue, and state and federal legislation in addition to their responsibilities under the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 and Workcover.
- The loading dock for this event is: Upper Loading docks Halls 5/6/7. After 20 minutes you will be directed to move your vehicle.
- There is NO facility for parking on the loading dock for more than 20 minutes for any vehicle including oversize vehicles. Parking options are listed here.
- Bump out times are:
- Shell Scheme and Turnkey Stands: Thursday 8 September, 5:30pm – 7pm via the carpark/lift access only. (loading dock access is expected from 7pm onwards).
- Space Only Stands: Thursday 8 September, 5:30pm – 11pm (loading dock access is expected from 7pm onwards).
- To help clear stock, you may sell DISPLAY product between 4pm and 5pm on Thursday 8 September. Stock must NOT be sold prior to this time.
- Dismantling of stands is strictly prohibited before 5pm on Thursday 8 September.
- Loading Dock doors will not open until all visitors and children 16 years or under have exited the building and all exhibitors and contractors are wearing high visibility vests and enclosed shoes.
- Please note that at the close of the show on Thursday 8 September, ALL children MUST be removed from the venue before bump-out can commence. Please make any necessary arrangements for your children in advance, as this regulation cannot be waived.
- Please supply your own high visibility vest for bump-out. Alternatively, if you would like to borrow an organiser high visibility vest it's on a first-come, first-served basis.
- It is highly advised that exhibitors park in the ICC Sydney car park and transport small/handheld boxes from the hall directly to their vehicle instead of using the loading dock. Fees do apply to park in the ICC car park, no discounted rates available. This is the quickest way to bump out!
- If you are using GEL Events to freight your goods, please pack up your stand and attach the return labels that they will provide you with.
- If you are NOT using GEL Events to freight your goods, you will need to provide your own return labels.
- Any stock to be picked up by a third party or on Friday 9 September between 8 am - 10 am is to be boxed up or placed on a pallet, labelled clearly with your return address and neatly placed in the centre of your stand. Please ensure the people collecting your goods know what hall and stand number your goods are located in. See GEL Events onsite for assistance.
- The Organiser, Stand Contractor (Harry the Hirer) and venue management accept no responsibility for goods left on the walls or poorly stacked on the floor or for damaged or lost property.
- Any rubbish is to be neatly packed up and placed in the middle of the aisle for cleaners to collect.
- If you require freight pick up on Friday morning, we recommend using GEL Events.
- Freight pickups can be made between 8 am - 10 am Friday 9 September but your goods must be wrapped, clearly labelled with a return address and left neatly in the centre of your stand.
- All exhibitor freight must be removed by 10 am Friday 9 September. If your courier has not arrived by this time, your goods will be transported offsite to the GEL Events warehouse. GEL Events will attempt to contact you before this action is taken however you are advised once your goods are shipped fees will apply for their release from storage.
