- IMPORTANT NOTICE Changes have been implemented for 2022 - please read carefully!
- To ensure a smooth bump in, National Media has engaged GEL Events to assist with the loading dock management which will address the loading dock challenges experienced at the 2021 exhibition. The upper level loading docks has very limited space and cannot sustain unnecessary use. We have implemented the following restrictions on the dock usage to ensure a smoother bump in and out for all exhibitors and contractors.
- Vehicle/truck access to the loading dock is via Darling Drive, upper loading docks 5-7. Access is strictly reserved for exhibitors who have booked via GEL Events. High Visibility vests and enclosed shoes must be worn at all times whilst on the loading dock. If you do not have a loading dock booking your vehicle will be sent down to the carpark or be required to wait offsite until space becomes available. You will only be able to book loading dock access in correspondence with your allocated bump in time. For your allocated bump in time, please refer to the 'Your Stand' box on the right side of the Stand Inclusions page - you will need to be logged in to view this.
- Vehicles may only remain on the loading dock for a maximum of 20 minutes for loading/unloading purposes due to the high volume of vehicles.
- A fee has been introduced this year for the use of the forklift. If you require use of a forklift, you must pre-book this with GEL Events via the Loading Dock and Forklifting Bookings form.
- Vehicles on the dock must not exceed 10kmh and hazard lights must be active at all times and whilst engines are running.
- Your courier can drop off your shipment whether you are present or not, ONLY if you have given authority that your delivery can be left without a signature. We accept no responsibility for goods left without you collecting and securing them.
- Please find more information here: Deliveries, Parking and Storage
- If you have an advert booked there will be an advert submission form in the compulsory forms tab with details about your advert and how to submit it.
- GEL Events are able to provide forklifting services (fees and bookings are required), pallet jacks and trolleys (free of charge) to exhibitors during bump in and bump out. Please note that these services are on a first come first served basis.
