Access

AIME is held in the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC).  The main entrance is on Convention Centre Place, but entry is also easy from Clarendon Street.  For more information on how to get to the MCEC, click here. 

Getting There

If you are planning to use public transport, you will require a Myki pass, unless route is otherwise signed as 'Free Zone' (applicable only to central business district Trams).

By Tram:

Tram numbers 96, 109 and 112 travel down Spencer/Clarendon Street and stop outside the Clarendon Street entrance of the MCEC. Tram numbers 70 and 75 stop at end of Flinders Street. Walk towards the Yarra River and across the pedestrian bridge. 

By Train:

Take the train to Southern Cross Station.  The Melbourne train network can be viewed at https://www.ptv.vic.gov.au - you can also use their Journey Planner to map out your route at https://www.ptv.vic.gov.au/journey.
You can make the 10 minute walk to MCEC or, with luggage, you may wish to catch Tram numbers 96, 109 or 112 which travel from Southern Cross Station to Clarendon Street entrance to MCEC. 

By Bus (to/from the airport)

The SkyBus transports visitors direct from Melbourne Airport to Southern Cross Station. MCEC is a 10 minute walk from the station or catch Tram 96, 109 or 112 which stop outside the Clarendon Street entrance of MCEC.  Fares for SkyBus can be found at https://www.skybus.com.au/melbourne-city-express/fares/ - for time efficiency, purchase online as directed.

By Taxi/ Uber:

Ask your driver to drop you at the main entrance of the MCEC which is on Convention Centre Place.  The main taxi/Uber rank for MCEC is in Convention Centre Place.
