How To Design Your Stall -- Click here to view

What's included in your stand package
  •  Exponet is our stand builder for all stands and will be constructing white wooden walls (not like the standard "expo walls" you see at other events) with a lighting package for each exhibitor throughout the fair.  This is included in all your stand packages. You are responsible for arranging all ADDITIONAL requirements for the stand (furniture, floor coverings, decor, greenery, signage etc.).
  • Exhibitors are allowed to use the following fixings on the walls: tape, blue tack, fixings that don't leave residue and hooks and picture hanging strips that come off clean.
  • If you want to screw into the walls, you will be charged an additional $30 per panel to cover the repair of the walls, as they will need to be refurbished post event.
  • If you wish to screw and fix heavy items to the walls, then you will need to contact Exponet directly so they can work out the best solution to support items and reinforce the walls for stability and safety. Exponet Contact: Gary McNamara - gary.mc@exponet.com.au

Furniture

  •  Furniture is not included with stand packages and must be ordered additionally.
  •  There are a number of preferred furniture suppliers listed on our Suppliers page, alternatively please feel free to supply your own.
  •  Please ensure all furniture and products sit within your stand and do not take up aisle space - especially due to the number of prams and small children visiting the fair.

Lighting and Electrics

  •  The official electrical contractor is managed by One Fine Collective and all orders for additional lighting or electricity must be placed through the Compulsory Forms page by the deadline provided prior to the event to ensure you are accounted for in the equipment allocation.
  •  All power is maintained 24-hour a day once it's been installed, meaning if you have anything that must stay connected, this is fine.
  •  All electrical equipment brought into the venue must be tagged and tested by a qualified electrician. This includes anything that can or will be plugged into an electrical socket e.g. phone chargers, power boards, laptop cords etc.
  •  If more than the allocated number of electrical sockets is required on a stand, vendors will need to bring their own tested and tagged power board.

Flooring

  •  The venue has polished concrete floors throughout and display items or equipment with rough or sharp surfaces must not rest on the floor.
  • Furniture must have protective rubber covers on the legs of all chairs, tables etc.
  • To assist in protecting the floors it is essential that a plastic covering is laid prior to the installation of displays that incorporate:
  • * Water features, including but not limited to fountains, ponds, pools and spas.
  • * Displays incorporating plants that require watering.
  • * Catering/event operations incorporating wet areas, including but not limited to dishwashing and ice containers.
  • * Paint, including but not limited to airbrushing, spray painting or brush/roller painting.
  • * Timber, wood chips, mulch, bark, soil, sawdust and other materials that may carry contaminants or insects such as termites.
  • Damage to the floors, columns and walls, including but not limited to, scratches, gouges, holes, marks, paint marks, adhesive residue, insects or contaminants, water damage and removal of the floor varnish will be recorded in the post event damage inspection and charged accordingly.

  • The maximum permissible height for any stand structure or wall is 2.4m.
  •
  • Please note the maximum height for any solid side walls is 1.2m. We prefer an open look to the event and whilst you can use racks, shelves, plants etc to help separate you from your neighbours of any height (under 2.4m) all solid walls must be kept at 1.2m high please.
  •  Floor heights: Any raised flooring that is 10mm and under must be taped down ( + Lo tack Tenacious Tape is the only tape permitted for use on the venue floor. Please purchase if required for your floor)

Stand Materials

  •  Materials used in stand construction must not stain or cause dampness, be readily ignitable or emit toxic fumes should ignition occur.
  •  Crepe paper, corrugated cardboard, straw, hay, untreated Hessian, untreated material fabrics or PVC sheet (except on floors as a protective membrane) are forbidden without the approval of the organisers.
  •  Any fabric used in the construction or decoration of a stand, must be treated with a fire retardant.

Stand Regulations

  •  Exhibitors are responsible for sending their contractors a copy of this exhibitor information manual, floor plan, stand measurements and ensuring contractors or agents are familiar with the rules and regulations of the event.
  •  All work must conform to the regulations of the venue. It is the responsibility of the exhibitor and/or their stand contractor to verify the allotted stand space on the floor plan, in order to avoid costly adjustments to stand structures from incorrect measurements for which the organisers cannot accept responsibility.
